In-Studio Classes
Established in 1994, Academy One is a performing arts school specializing in ballet and dance. Classical ballet is offered year-round. During our summer intensive we have other lessons such as lyrical jazz, contemporary dance, hiphop/street dance, and other specialized courses.
Locally Academy One’s students have won scholarships to the Philippine High School of the Arts, Ballet Philippines, Ballet Manila and Philippine Ballet Theatre.
Our students have also represented the Philippines in the prestigious New York International Ballet Competition (2009) and have been finalists in the local NAMCYA and CCP ballet competition and have won and placed in the Philippine Dance Cup and in the Asian Grand Prix in Hong Kong. In 2017 two of our students were selected out of hundreds to compete in the elite Prix de Lausanne Ballet Competition.
Our alumni have gone on to perform with major ballet companies, here, and abroad.
